Councils & Commissions
 
The Judicial Branch of government has a number of councils and commissions each with its own unique charge. The councils and commissions focus on a number of issues ranging from the oversight of investigations into complaints concerning the qualifications of any justice or judge to the development of recommendations regarding the appropriate sentencing of felons and misdemeanants in North Carolina.
