Alternative Dispute Resolution Programs
 
There are several Alternative Dispute Resolutions Programs established in the Eighth Judicial District for the purpose of resolving disputes among parties. In many cases through alternative dispute resolution programs, disputes are resolved outside of a courtroom environment without the necessity of a judge or jury. In civil cases, they are "court ordered" or required, and in Family Court cases, they are required in child custody and equitable distribution matters. The following index allows for the selection of the program of interest to you. Each program has information provided to explain how it operates and some offer additional materials to assist you.
