When & Where to Report

Jurors should call the Clerk's office at 910 592-5191 x500 as instructed by the jury letter they received in the mail to determine when and where they are to report for jury duty. Please park in the free designated parking areas around the Courthouse. Also, please follow your jury notification as to deferments and excuses.

If you have to report to serve you will be shown an orientation video that explains what to expect as a juror. Please dress comfortably, but not too casually. Many judges do not allow anyone to come to court wearing tank tops, halters or cut-off jeans, shorts or shirts with offensive wording. Please dress appropriately since you will be serving as a part of the court. During jury selection there will be some waiting time that is unavoidable, you may bring books, needlework, or other materials, etc. to occupy your time.
