The Trial Court Administrator is appointed by the Senior Resident Superior Court judge and the Chief District Court judge and serves as representative for the implementation of policies established at the courts' directive. The Trial Court Administrator works with other court offices and county officials in the Fifth Judicial District to ensure efficiency and productivity in the operations of the court. The TCA establishes the schedule of superior court for the district and sets the trial dates for all superior court civil cases. In the Fifth Judicial District all motions to continue and proposed discovery scheduling orders are routed first to the TCA.
The TCA supervises arbitration and mediation programs, court interpreter referrals, court reporting, is a member of the Drug Treatment Court Management Committee, the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council and the Criminal Justice Partnership Program.
