Request to be excused from jury service should be clearly explained, and medical records or a doctor's statement may be attached when appropriate. The request should be made in writing and received by the Court at least 10 days prior to the date of scheduled service. Chief District Court Judge, Albert A. (Andy) Corbett, Jr. will review and rule on the petition and the results of the judge's consideration will be mailed to the person making the request. Emergency requests may be made to the trial judge shortly after reporting for jury service.
