District Court Judge Craig B. Brown

The Honorable Craig B. Brown was appointed to the bench in 1996 and reelected in 1998, 2002 and 2006. Judge Brown received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also received a Masters in Public Policy from Duke University. Prior to serving the District Court bench, Brown practiced privately for thirteen years. Judge Brown presides over the district's Adult Drug Treatment Court.
