Excused/Deferment Procedures
 
If you wish to be excused or have your jury summons dates deferred, please come to the Jury Pool Room on the 5th Floor of the Durham County Judicial Building at 2:00p.m. on any Thursday prior to your jury date to ask that the Court excuse you. If you cannot serve because of medical reasons, please bring a doctor's note. Please contact the Jury Clerk to confirm time and date.
