Cabarrus County Courthouse hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on normal business days. The Office of the Clerk of Superior Court is open to the public Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on normal business days. Please refer to the following link for listing of
holidays on which the courthouse will be closed.
The Cabarrus County Courthouse has security which is operated by the
Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department. The following are the general security procedures:
You are not permitted to bring the following items into the courthouse:
- Knives of any type or size INCLUDING pocket knives
- Scissors (or any other sharp metal object)
- Firearms or ammunition
- Mace
Briefcases, purses, bags, backpacks and any other items may be subject to search by security personnel.
Security personnel will open the building to the public beginning at 7:30 AM; however, please note that the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court will not be open to the public until 8:30 AM.
