Superior Court Judges are attorneys who are elected for each district in non-partisan elections for eight-year terms. Regular superior court judges must reside in the district in which they are elected, but rotate from one district to another within their division.
There are two Superior Court Judges in Judicial District 15-B, which is comprised of Orange and Chatham Counties. The Senior Resident Superior Court Judge is Carl R. Fox
, and R. Allen Baddour, Jr.
is the other Resident Superior Court Judge. Both judges may be assigned to hold court in Orange and Chatham counties, or in any of the other judicial districts in North Carolina.
