District Attorney Benjamin R. David
grew up in Gainesville, Florida and moved to North Carolina to attend Wake Forest Law School. After graduation in 1995, he was recruited by a top firm in the Carolinas and worked as a civil attorney out of their Winston-Salem office. Since 1999, he has worked in the District Attorney's office for the Fifth District and has served as the elected District Attorney since November 2004.
