Form of Payment:
  Criminal cases - Pay by money order, certified check, or cash. Personal Checks are not accepted.
  Civil cases - You can pay a civil judgment by money order, certified check, or cash. Personal Checks are not accepted when paying on a civil judgment. Civil filing fees can be paid by personal check, money order, certified check, or cash.

Contact the Clerk of Superior Court's Office for additional information on how to pay fines at (919) 708-4400. The Civil Judgment division must verify all Payments before the Cashier accepts payment.

1 Note: If you have appealed a summary ejectment or landlord/tenant dispute and must pay rent or back rent to the court, you may go to the Cashier's Office to Pay.
