All requests for access to participants in AOC court programs, or information/data on participants, must be submitted in writing or electronically to the Administrator of the Court Programs and Management Services Division at least 45 days prior to initiation of the research. The Division shall provide application forms and relevant materials.

The Administrator of the Court Programs and Management Services Division shall maintain administrative oversight of a Research Permission Committee. The Committee shall have as members persons who possess the professional expertise necessary to review specific research/evaluation/monitoring activities, and who are able to judge the acceptability of proposals in light of the Administrative Office of the Courts' statutory authority, policies and practices.
